I may have spun a story about how I was singing "The Star-Spangled Banner" and got kicked out of homeroom by Margaret Narwin, just to get her in trouble. Why did I do it? I may have done it in a fit of pique, to spite her. What caused me to be furious about her, and in turn maligned Narwin? The fact that Narwin's lessons were downright boring and useless, and the fact that she had failed me for English means that I cannot go for the Track Team Tryouts, hence not getting in to the team.
Oh, you could imagine the disappointment I was facing when Coach Jamison told me this horrifying rule. Thinking about the high hopes my father had put on me, I began to feel pressure. He wanted me to achieve what he had not the chance to accomplish before. At this point, I began to blame Narwin for everything. Actually, I was just pushing all the blame on her. I was trying to escape reality. I refused to accept the fact that it was I who had caused all this. If I had studied harder, all this would not have happened, and the end result would be totally different. Word Count : 203 Words. 1A109 left the world of darkness on 3:55 AM Monday, February 23, 2009
Hello guys. =]. I will be blogging about my reading habits in this post.
I like mystery and action novels/books, as I love the suspense and excitement each of those books bring with it. My favourite author is Anthony Horowitz as he is able to blend both mystery and action together quite well, making the story more interesting than many others. My favourite book, of course, is written by Anthony Horowitz, and is called "Snakehead". The story revolves around a 14 year-old boy, who is very intelligent and has good reflexes. He works for a coporation, albeit reluctantly, and undergoes many perilous missions. In this series, he has to take on a whole gang, and succeeds using his quick-wittedness. I encourage you guys to read Anthony Horowitz's books. They are both interesting and educational in a way that it improves your vocabulary. Thank You. 1A109 left the world of darkness on 12:51 AM |
